Hey Everyone, Monica here with another fun tutorial for you! Today I would like to talk about Focal Points. I’m going to be using *Fabulous Fall* By Connie Prince
When you make your scrapbook page you always choose what you want the people to focus on when they look at your page. Sometimes it’s the title and sometimes it’s the photos. I’m going to show you a few things to help you get more attention on the item you want as your focal point so that it will help you make a page you are proud of!
Placing the Focal Point
When you decide what you want as your focal point place it on your page where you want it. For this I’m going to just use a photo as a focal point.
Place your photo on the page where you want it.
Now you want to group some elements around your photo. Make sure that your elements are enhancing your photo.
Now you can fill in some of the other parts of the page making sure that your are keeping the focal point on the photo!
Now my photo is the focal point of the page and the elements help enhance the photo I wanted to showcase!
Now I will add a bit of journaling to tell the story of the photo and my page is perfect!
When you are doing a focal point on a page you can do many different things. You can make it Large and show it off or you can make it smaller so you can tell the story of the photo. I love that Digital Scrapbooking gives me the option to adjust my photos and I am not cutting the only copy of the photo I had, only to wish it was bigger!
I hope you have enjoyed this tutorial! If you have any questions please message me on Gotta Pixel, I’m sparky_mom there! I’ll be glad to help!
